Thanks to the international service of the Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée University, the IMAC Engineering School encourages its students to do their internships abroad. They can also study abroad during the third year of training in countries such as Canada, Korea or many european countries.
Third year abroad
It is possible to spend one or two semesters abroad during the third year of the IMAC training.
In 2012-2013 ten students went to Korea, Canada or Scotland. It is also possible to go to Spain, the United States or Ireland.
Chloé Agostini - IMAC 2012
"After being selected during my second year of IMAC to take part in the “Feeling Korea” program with Chonbuk University (Jeonju, south Korea), I was offered to spend a whole semester in the Computer Engineering department of this University. After a short hesitation, I finally accepted to face this big challenge and I don't regret it ! We were very well received in a both Korean and international campus: our classes, in English, were attended by students from all over the world. I was really lucky to live in a completely different culture and to discover this country, I recommend it to every curious student."
Benjamin Perney - IMAC 2013
안녕하세요 ! For my third year at the school IMAC, I had the chance to go to South Korea in the department "computer vision" of the University of Chonbuk in Jeonju. I lived an unforgettable experience! I took courses in English, corresponding to my expectations in a warm and serious atmosphere, and at the same time having fun and making new friends. In addition, the one-year stay allowed me to easily find my internship graduation in Shanghai. this experience is very rewarding both personally and professionally point, I advise all those who wish to experience new sensations. Oppa Gangnam style!
The school highly recommends that its students do one of their internships abroad (the internships last at least 2 months in second year and at least 4 months in third year). For example, in 2012, second year students went to London, Los Angeles, Madrid.
Julien Ducret - IMAC 2012
"During the second year, I decided to do a 3-month internship in California. The company I joined, in the heart of Los Angeles,
has been receiving several IMAC students for a few years now. It was an unforgettable and very rewarding experience for me, both from a professional
and a personal point of view. I was lucky enough to work very closely to the American entertainment industry, I discovered California and its splendid
landscapes and I met unforgettable people.
This internship also allowed me to develop my profile on an international scale and it will represent a great asset for my professional integration."
